Questions & Answers

What is the Right to Manage (RTM)?

The Right to Manage (RTM) allows leaseholders to take over building management from the landlord. This gives us direct control over service charges, maintenance contracts, and the overall standard of care for Hampshire Court.

Who is eligible to become a member?

Any qualifying leaseholder at Hampshire Court can join the RTM company. Being a member ensures you have a formal voice and voting rights regarding major decisions that affect our community and our investment.

How does this affect my service charge?

The RTM company aims to provide full transparency. While we still pay charges for building upkeep, we can competitively tender for services, ensuring that every penny is spent effectively on our building.

What is the role of the RTM directors?

Directors are volunteer leaseholders who oversee the company's responsibilities. They ensure compliance with the Articles of Association and manage the relationship with our professional managing agents.
